Kano Gov swears-in 2 new Perm Secs, vows to reform civil service for speedy operation

Kano State Governor, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, has sworn-in two new Permanent Secretaries in the state service.
Mallam Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the Chief Press Secretary to the Kano State Governor, made this known in a statement he issued on Friday and copy of which was sent to The DEFENDER.
The new top servants took the oath of office Friday, at Aminu Kano House (The Governor’s Lodge in Abuja), as administered by the state Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice, Barr. Haruna Isa Dederi.
They are Barr. Mustapha Muhammad Nuraddeen, who was sworn-in as Permanent Secretary, Ministry ofJustice aand Solicitor General, and Isyaka Alhaji Umar, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Land and Physical Planning.
The Governor enjoined them to discharge their responsibilities in accordance with civil service rules and regulations.
“We are concerned about the condition of the civil service, we will do everything humanly possible to reform it as a vehicle through which we deliver good governance to our teaming population”
His Excellency Alhaji Abba Kabir further reiterated his administration’s commitment to restoring the lost glory of Kano civil service to ease operation of the government.
