IPOB: Court orders re-arraignment of Kanu for treason, dismisses 6 count charges against him
The Federal High Court, Abuja, has ordered that Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leader, Nnamdi Kanu, be re-arraigned on five count charges bordering on treasonable felony.
The court did just as it dismissed six count charges against the IPOB leader.
The dismissed count charges are 3,5,7,9,10 and 11, bordering on belonging to unlawful society, illegal importation of radio transmitters and researching on the internet on how to make improvised explosive devices (IEDs) among others.
Justice Binta Nyako noted that the prosecutor failed to place anything before the court to prove the allegations.
The IPOB leader is not let off the hook as he has now been ordered to be re-arraigned for charges treason.
