INDIA: Chinmaya Foundation holds 365th day of lockdown, with review meeting, poet recitation for Covid-19

A leading common people’s welfare organization of India, the Chinmaya Foundation, and its Dolphin Dance School and Group Project have observed 365th day with a review meeting of its relief distribution and Covid-19 awareness program in a simple and unique manner and in accordance with Covid rules.

This was according to a statement sent to The DEFENDER from the Office of the Chinmaya Foundation, At-BabalPur, Po-NandiPur, Via-DasarathPur, District-JajPur, State-Odisha, Pin-755006, Bharat, India.

At the meeting, Master Mihir Kumar addressed and welcomed the guests to the stage and presented his own experience about the nonstop year end Covid-19 activities of the Foundation.

Mr. Shashikanta Panda, Journalist Jyotishankar Roy, Mr. Chinmaya Dash, the National Chairperson of Chinmaya Foundation, Educationalist Mr. Rajendra Sahu, the teacher of Anapurna Nodal UP School, were honoured as a guests of the meeting upon presentation of their views about the social reformation through various cultural programs, relief work and awareness.

During the first session, a Corona poet recitation and World Poetry Day Celebration program was organised by the foundation, of which recitation was coordinated by Miss Barsarani Majhi and Namita Mallick.

Lisa Mallick, Riki Das, Bikash Mallick, Akash Das, Manas Setth, Anjali Das, Lakshmipriya Das and others cooperated in seeing to smooth conduct and success of the program.

The cultural awareness and relief distribution program for Covid19 of Chinmaya Foundation was continuously appreciated by members of the public present for their thoughts, activities and remarkable contribution to the society. They viewed the program as a shining example of the foundation for remarkable achievement of Corona awareness considered to be a must.
