I’ll accept outcome in good faith – Tambuwal

Governor of Sokoto State, Alhaji Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, has said that he will accept whatever will be the outcome of this Saturday 9 March 2019 governorship election in his state.

Tambuwal, who stands in the election as candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), stated this while casting his vote at the Waziri A Primary school polling unit in Tambuwal town, Sokoto State on Saturday, promising that he would accept outcome of the exercise in good faith.

He also described the turnout of voters particularly of women as impressive.

Tambuwal spoke shortly while fielding questions from reporters who were monitoring the conduct of the election in Tambuwal town.

“In my opinion, the exercise is peaceful across the state even though with minimal challenges. No case of any violation or crises reported to me,” he said.

Tambuwal, who cast his ballot 12:25pm after he was accredited, called on electorates to maintain the peace by been orderly in their quest to electing their leaders.
