Sokoto Deputy Gov, 10 Commissioners, SSG, Chief of Staff resign appointments

Information reaching us from Sokoto State says that Governor of Sokoto State, Alhaji Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, has accepted the resignation of his deputy and twelve other key portfolio holders in his administration.

At the top of the list is the Deputy Governor, Hon. Manir Muhammad Dan’Iya, who was also the Overseer of the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, the portfolio he dropped by the resignation.

The DEFENDER reports that Manir Dan’Iya continues as elected Deputy Governor as he only resigned as Commissioner in charge of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.
