APC leadership sad, angry with Tinubu over ‘disrespect’ for Office of President of Nigeria

The national leadership of All Progressives Congress (APC) has described as unacceptable a statement made by a chieftain of the party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, about President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice President and others saying they would not have been who they are without him.

Although the Tinubu’s campaign organisation, in an apologetic statement issued by its Director of Media and Publicity, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, denied that the statement while addressing delegates in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital on Thursday June 2, 2022 was anything near intention to disrespect the President, the party still embittered.

Noting that the apology offered by Tinubu was not enough, the party said it might punish the presidential aspirant for the remark.
