Tension in Enugu, as unknown gunmen shot three policemen dead, at police check point
The incident occured along timber junction, Maryland axis in Enugu South local government area of the State.
At the same point of the attack, it was gathered that the hoodlums also kidnapped a woman and her driver.
The spokesperson of Enugu police command, SP Ebere Amaraizu who confirmed the incident said the information was still sketchy. He said that Policemen were after the hoodlums.
“Information surrounding the incident is still sketchy. Meanwhile, manhunt of the hoodlums have been initiated,” he said.
