Gov Matawalle visits police operatives attacked by bandits at Kurar Mota

Hon. Bello Mohammed Matawalle, Governor of Zamfara State, has visited the Federal troops, victims of Kurar Mota Village of Bungudu Local Government, who came under attack following an ambush staged by the criminal bandits.

The governor directed evacuation of the 13 slain policemen and the seven others, who were wounded to the Yariman Bakura Specialist Hospital, Gusau.

He said that he immediately rushed to the hospital to sympathize with those currently receiving treatment.

Governor Matawalle, while lamenting over the attack, assured that he would partner with security agencies in the state to track down the attackers and all their sponsors as well as collaborators, with a view to bringing them to book.

Matawalle, who was highly devastated by the sad incident, said the troops were doing very well at the war front in the fight against bandits in the area.
