Gov Lawal’s achievements one year in ofice unprecedented – Yari

The Special Adviser on Political and Inter-party Relation to the Governor of Zamfara State, Hon. Yahaya Abubakar Yari, has described achievements of Governor Dauda Lawal just within one year in office as highly unprecedented.
He disclosed this in Gusau, the state capital, during an interview with journalists on the weeklong activities lined up for the celebration of one year of his principal in office.
He said the rescue mission of the present administration had started yielding positive results judging from achievements so far recorded within the span of one year.
Yari further said Governor Lawal had achieved a lot by way of reconstructing renovating and equipping several hospitals and upgrading of some primary health centres to general hospitals.
He also reconstructed several dilapileted primary and secondary schools in addition to provision of furnitures and learning materials to give education the attention it deserves as it is a priority to the government.
All of these were done in addition to other tertiary institutions also given a facelift. Yari said.
He described the rescue government of Dauda Lawal as one that is driven by determination to provide socio-economic environment that would enhance growth and development in the society to enable the citizens of the core Northern state extractions have access to basic amenities of life.
The Governor’s Aide appealed to people of Zamfara State to give maximum support to government of the state leader “so it will continue to provide dividends of democracy to the good people of the state.”
