Funny but sad video, as podium collapses after PDP chieftain seeks protection from devil
To Nigerians who see Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) politicians as laughing stock at all times especially as they still desperately move with what have been described as falsehood based campaigns to return to power, collapse of the party’s podium during one of its campaign as shown in a video watched by this online newspaper would be funny but sad.
On a serious note, the situation in the video is sad and undesirable.
The question many have asked however is, what could have caused the podium to collapse shortly after chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) sought divine protection from the devil at their campaign rally?
A response as captured in PMNews said, “Well, many thought the devil was not happy with them for this and brought down the podium.”
The podium’s collapse was however blamed on corruption among the PDP members charged with the construction of campaign stage.
A source, upon our probe, said, “That is PDP thieves for you. Half of money meant for stage construction stolen, they made do, and here is the result.”
In his response to the video however, Kayode Ogundamisi via his Twitter handle said: “✔@ogundamisi A’uzu billahi minasheitani rajimi (Seek protection from the DEVIL) & podium collapsed. I hope members of @OfficialPDPNig involved in the mishap during the campaign podium disaster are okay. I pray they are all okay. We may oppose @atiku but we wish you well. #ElectionisNotWar”.
