Follow-Up: Folake Toks Lawal: Now is time for a singular reply to all your vituperation

By Bashir Adefaka

But first and foremost, may I ask you, the university where you studied mass communications, did they not teach you anything about morals? Even if you were not taught, you were at liberty to borrow courses from the religion as external electives so that while you learn about the materialism that is the only thing you gain from mass communication, you would be opportune to have some moral and spiritual cursors that will guide your way to piety and good behaviour in the course of your journalism practice. At that time, anybody who relates with you as a journalist (print or broadcasting) will always have this to say about you: “I have been seeing journalists, Folake Toks Lawal is special.” But you lack in both professionalism and are also bereaved in the morals. Then what is the difference between your race and the race of the Apes? I don’t mean to offend you my sister. Although there are many mass communication graduates who are not journalists. That is a fact. May be you lost out of touch with the nobility and discipline that the profession put together in its ethics because you don’t practice. And practice, they say, makes perfect.

HAVING SAID THAT, NOW THE REPLY TO YOUR COMMENTS ON how “Muslims” killed your corona children that you sent to the North to go and educate them and how the parents are still groaning in the pains of those losses while “you Prince Bashir Adefaka now come with this stupid piece of yours” and all of that. You even because of that went further to say “thunder fire you…..” I remember asking you, “language of which faithdom is that?” Femi Ariyo is an alternate Ere Ibile musician in old Ondo State to Elemure Ogunyemi now late. He had a particular experience with a Folake whose attitude surprised him in his time, and he would sing: “Folaake mii ooo!” (2x). And it would be chorused: “Folake mii ooo….” (3x on and on).

Folaaakeeeee! You are a wonderfully illiterate woman. Or I can’t trust you. You could be a man coming in the name and photo of a woman. There is nothing anybody who is only fond of raining curses like you cannot do. But I will take you at the level of which you appear.

And the easiest way to make you understand, because I can see that you are the most vocal among the people I took on by my post who is confident enough to reply me, is to ask you few questions: You started by talking about killings of Christians by Muslims, does it make sense to say Muslims are killing Christians in this country of ours that is Nigeria? It does not make sense just like it does not make sense to say that Christians are killing Muslims. But what makes sense is to see that some Muslims may be blind to the truth of Allah saying there is no compulsion in religion but Allah alone is the one that guide aright and that whoever is led aright is the only one who is successful. If you are blind to this scriptural statement which is also a command in nature, you will want all Nigerians to be Muslims but you will never find any Muslim in that business. Why you want all Nigerians to be Christians is what you should tell all of us so that we will be educated and decide which way to go. I put it to you that your do-or-die to convert people to Christianity is the reason you people went to stand the way of Muslims in education, employments into public and private institutions, access to health service delivery in hospitals (which was rampant until around 2001 in Lagos), appointment into high places in the civil service and so on and so forth.
Before you accuse me of lying on these, know that you must back your accusation up with facts which negate my points. Failure to do this is automatic rubbishing of yourself.

Furthermore, all the so called killing of Christians that you claimed in your comment, can you point to one that was truly and you can confidently say was stagemanaged by Muslims? You didn’t even include one that you people claimed were also by Muslims: Killing of the lady evangelist at Kubwa Abuja. The Kubwa side of the killing is known to be place for notorious criminals and touts. She chose to go there and do her evangelism and that was what happened. How come immediate she was killed, the message you people passed round was Muslims killed her? Can you see you evil? The Islamic cleric that was killed along with his wife and four children in Ijebu Ode, what will you say if we say the killings of that Muslim family was by Christians being South West is Christian dominated? We will never do that. But why are you also not guided by this commonsense? Or you don’t know who a Muslim is, reason you are just opening your mouth to talk without knowledge. And people who talk without knowledge often overshoot the runway. And when an aircraft overshoots the runway, do you not know that is called aircraft crash? That is the similitude of what you have done since yesterday. But by the time I finish with you, if you still continue with your mouth-running, we will then know, like Imo State governor Okorocha told about your cleric Fani Talker that you call FFK, that you lack the “native sense” to talk in the public.

You must answer the last question: Which of the so called killing of Christians was stagemanaged by Muslims in the North? Tell us one. This is a challenge that you must rise to. And if you can’t, just stop the madness my sister. I have millions of people who read me globally and they are all watching what we write. But all that I have complained about in my post are factually stagemanaged by your Christian leaders. No dispute and I will give you proof by tasking you to go and ask CAN to give you their AGENDA FOR NIGERIAN MUSLIMS…you will see all there. They must be sincere enough to tell you and I will not be surprised if they don’t. That is why you would see people like Papa Adeboye, Oyedepo, CAN leaders etc heating up the polity just because Federal Government responded to religious leaders request to make religious studies compulsory for respective religions’ students so as to boost morals and values in the country. Your leaders said Muhammadu Buhari wanted to Islamise Nigeria by forcing Islamic Studies on Christian students. Did you ever ask those “anointed men of God” of yours why they lie? If they lie to you and you happily take it, why should I blame you for being agent for the spread of falsehood against Islam and Muslims of Nigeria?

Look, Folake, you can’t blackmail me with your rabblerousing because you are not fit to. When you know a fact that is against your own soul or your personal, economic, political or religious interest, it is either you keep quiet or if you must talk, then, find a way of reaching compromise. Not to make the revealers of those facts look like insane for saying the obvious. Nevertheless, I can’t regret ever accepting or adding you as friend on Facebook. You are a wonderful person. What is not okay about you is what you have exposed but human being can change from bad to good.

Before I go, I want to educate you. In the North you have categories of people like you have in the South West, South East and South South. I have always said it that, much as I am critical of Igbo over their total support for their youths causing discomfort and hate in the land, they are better at home than we the Yoruba. Likewise in the North particularly Kano: You have the Al-Majiri, you have the Yandaba (don’t also forget there are quite great minds, elites and contributors of progress to national and global good in the North. You will never find that all the religious peace effort in this country are done by North either Christian or Muslim – Antony Cardina Onaiyekan and Sultan of Sokoto Abubakar III are Northerners). These two (Al-Majiri and Yandaba) classes of people are miles apart. But you put them together as one and so you are happy to have something to attack Islam by their actions.

THE AL-MAJIRI:

These are little children brought to city centres from villages by parents who want their children to have Qur’anic education. In the North, governments have plans and votes for Islamic cleric who teach these children in morals through the Qur’an and Hadith. But, like corruption has permeated the entire fabrics of our society, I gathered that these clerics either take the money from government and use it for themselves or that the governments have started to renege on their responsibility in that regard. But what is a fact is that, they now ask these children to go out and fed for themselves placing plates in their hands to seek arms. That is what those you call Al-Majiri do and they do no more than that. There is no Northern elite or man that is happy with that and that is why the Sultan of Sokoto Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar has been attacking the governors of Northern Nigeria over the existence of Al-Majiri under their nose. On his own, he has a foundation which takes care of girl child education and all those are ongoing.

To worsen the situation, Jonathan went and build Al-Majiri schools and you in your own side of the Church were happy because you knew that he was killing the North the more. Sultan provided the best solution: You parents in rural areas should stop sending your wards to the cities. Take care of them, there are schools and Qur’an centres in your various communities. When they get to the level of going to the cities, why not? They will but to send your children to city for some cleric who do not have time for themselves talkless of others to take care of them, you are destroying the values of the North. That is how the Northerners have battled the problem of Al-Majiri in the North.
But in your own judgment, anything Al-Majiri, hey! They are killers of Christians! Where did you see that? I want you Folake Toks Lawal to provide us with an answer or you keep shut permanently.

NOW COME TO YANDABA: Kano is the Lagos of the North with Kaduna as capital; just like Port Harcourt is the Lagos of East with Enugu as capital and you have Ibadan as capital of the West. In capital cities you find civility but in every Lagos you find all the madness that cosmopolitanism encourages. That is when you begin to have all sorts of criminality: armed robbery, ritual killings, cultism, thuggery, money-doublers, 419ers, etc.

This is the same case with Kano where the issue of Yandaba is common. First ask yourself, what is common with the Language of the North? Wallahi! Lailaha illa Allah! Bisimillahi! These are commonly said and you can’t deny the similar in the part of Nigeria where come from, Folake, except you just deliberately choose to be unfair to your own soul. That is why you can see any Yandaba saying, “Wallahi bantashi ba…….!” Just to represent something about them… I was in Kano during the 2004 reprisal of the killing of over 500 Muslims in Yelwa Shendam, Jos. I saw covered it. But members of the predominantly Muslim Kano told me: “Wear kaftan and don’t dress in shirt and trouser. Then you are safe to move in their midst. REMEMBER: Those Yandaba are Northerners and also those that advised me are Northerners. It means some sane people also know people among them who are insane and, due to the fact that they are ordinarily good people, they show you the way to escape their wrath pending the time the government will find solution to their matter.

WHO ARE THE YANDABA: They are just the Northern version of the Agbero and touts of Lagos or Port Harcourt. They smoke even more than Indian Hemp which turns their head against normal and in that case you see all kinds of criminality occur.

IS THAT WHAT YOU CALL MUSLIMS KILLING CHRISTIANS, Folake Toks Lawal? You failed to move around to see that Nigeria is bigger than the Yoruba Land where you restrict your thinking and reasoning and with which you practice your religion of Christianity, yet you want us to believe that those of us, who see farther than you, are insane.
I want you to go and do research into the contributions of Muslim Community and Christian Community to the efforts in the past at solving Boko Haram menace and, if you are sincere to yourself, you will see that where Muslims were busy find solution condemning Boko Haram who were killing people without regard to religion, colour or tribe, leadership of your Christian community were busy separating the killings saying: The Boko Haram are a Northern agenda to Islamise Nigeria and wipe out Christians (Does it make sense to say that the Agberos and area boys in South West are doing what they do as an agenda of the South West?). They say Boko Haram are killing Christians. Etc. This is what you, a supposedly educated person, still carry in your SKULL like you said to me up till today and you think you sane?!

BUT WE HAVE SEEN CACULATED BOKO HARAM ATTACKS IN OLA OLUWA LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA OF OSUN, which was sponsored by presiding Pastor of Baptist Church who is Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in that Local Government. When caught, the three guys told the police and the people of the area that “Don’t kill us. We are members of this church we have just attacked. Our pastor sent us to dress like Muslims so that it will look like Boko Haram attack.” That was the time the Osun CAN was blackmailing Governor Aregbesola with claim that he wanted to import Boko Haram into Osun. (Ask AB EleyeleQasim AdebisiBolaji BelloLukman Oladipupo AgbomabiwonBashir LuCas Samson LukmanEneye Ahmad Jamiu Emma, Yusuf Ajao Adepoju Abu Aish, what the experience was). We wrote the report at that time but no media in the Christian dominated press of Southern Nigeria published it and we knew it was CAN’s instruction not to publish. An evangelist later tried to deny it when I raised it saying he was not aware about it and I told him: Yes, that was what CAN wanted to achieve by blocking the media from publishing it so that no one would have reference. CAN forgot that they were not God. Oku ti won si ese re ree nita. We took to the social media and the Divisional Police Headquarters where those three were detained still has the record. What else?

Folake, instead of you asking your religious leaders why they lie and coax people in their evangelism, you are calling me stupid for telling you how their lies have impacted in my life? Who then is more a stupid person? CAN YOU react to that? And before we know it, you start talking about Egypt, Syria. In the post that I published above, did you see where I mentioned Cameroon or Ghana talkless that I would mention Saudi Arabia or America? No. I am much more concerned about my life and my faith as a Nigerian Muslim living in Nigeria. Let us first discuss Nigeria with a view to seeing where we go wrong so we can right the wrong. Then, we can later move outside together. Stop confusing yourself; I know what I am talking about.

Last but not the last, you are quick to talk about corona children sent to the North to educate them: educate who? Can you see how insultive you are? You are talking about the North of Prof. Ango Abdullahi, Dr. Muhammad Baba, Alhaji Munir Ja’afar, Aliko Dangote, many great successfully educated Muslims who are doing well at home and abroad….the North from where the richest and most religiously, economically and materially successful man in Africa come from….and you said corona children were sent there to educate them. Have you actually travelled to the North before? If you find a poor or illiterate, how is that the overall template for judging the entire situation in the place? You are indeed the illiterate. We all bemoan and feel bad about death of any innocent soul. Folake, you should allow us our free time to mourn whoever dies or is killed by any criminal but not politicize it, lest you rubbish even the dead thereby worsening the psychological state of their parents.

So….try and learn about things before you start talking about them lest you lose your respect in the eyes of the people……

Good morning Folake Toks Lawal.
