Ex-Iranian President Ahmadinejad remains class teacher, uses public bus to work

During his presidency, he did not initiate the adoption of a law according to which, as a former president, he would receive a much higher state pension and he has since returned to his normal life as a class teacher going to and from work by public bus.

Former Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, after leading and placing the feet of the country on path of world power for the eight years, now works as a teacher.

A photo, first published on May 9, 2023, has lately resurfaced on the social media network showing that Ahmadinejad uses public transport.

In the eight years of his mandate as the president of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad did not receive a salary from the state budget but lived on a teacher’s salary.

During his presidency, he did not initiate the adoption of a law according to which, as a former president, he would receive a much higher state pension and he has since returned to his normal life as a class teacher going to and from work by public bus.

The DEFENDER, citing another media report, says Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the man who was at the helm of affairs in Iran for eight solid years as President, has since returned to his teaching profession after serving his term office.

That is not all, as the former president of the rich Arab nation, he rides bus to work like most of the workers in the country do.

The former Iranian President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, according to the report, says he finds fulfilment in his chosen career as a teacher.

“A photo of Ahmadinejad using public transportation appeared on the social network. A reference was made under the photo that during his 8 years of presidency Ahmadinejad did not receive a single rials salary from the state budget, living on a teacher’s salary,” the report said.

The reference stated that, “He went back to teaching again, and as you can see, he takes the bus to work”.
