Erdogan discusses Gaza with Presidents of Egypt, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, calls Israel’s actions ‘mass murder’

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has discussed the situation in the Gaza Strip with leaders of Egypt, Indonesia and Saudi Arabia in Riyadh and called Israel’s actions in the region “mass murder,” the Turkish presidency said on Saturday.

Erdogan met with Indonesian President Joko Widodo, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Sisi and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on the sidelines of a Joint Arab Islamic Extraordinary Summit in Riyadh.

“At a meeting with Widodo, Erdogan said that attacks against the Palestinian people are unacceptable and reached the level of mass murder, targeting hospitals, schools, religious places, NGO employees,” the office said in a statement obtained by Sputnik.
