At the meeting, which took place on Friday 16th September 2022 at the Evwreni residence of Chief Uba Donatus, one of the ward’s leader, Dr. Christopher Obiuwevbi a.k.a. Ominimini noted the increasing acceptance of APC candidates across Delta, particularly, Ughelli North Constituency I.

He, therefore, advised party leaders to reciprocate their popularity in parts of the state at the units’ level by building leaders-electorates relationship.

“We have the responsibility of preaching the manifestos of our candidates and their willingness to deliver on their campaign promises to the electorates,” Ominimini said.

Barr Matthew Omonade, APC candidate in the Ughelli North Constituency I for Delta State House of Assembly, thanked the leaders for the confidence reposed in him and the governorship candidate of the party, Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege.

“We must work together as a team to defeat our common enemy and to actualize the dream of our governor building a new Delta,” he urged.

Those in attendance at the meeting included Chief Christopher Obiuwevbi, Chairman Advisory Council to Omonade Campaign Organisation, Chief Felix Ekure, Director General, Omonade Campaign Organisation, Chief Ohare Victor, Igbren Benson, Chief James Wiske, Chief Monday Otobrise, Hon. Pat Efetobor, Comr. Tobore Ivan, Comr. Itebu Emmanuel, Comr. Festus Douglas amongst other.
