DSS, Police take over APC National Secretariat
Few hours after the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomhle’s suspension was ordered by a court, policemen and operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) have reportedly taken over the national secretariat of the party.
Justice Danlami Senchi of a Federal Capital Territory High Court gave the ruling on Wednesday.
Senchi said based on the suspension of Oshiomhole by the party in his Ward in Edo State, he has no justification remaining as the head of the party.
Shortly after two officials of the court served the suspension order on the party, the policemen and DSS operatives arrived at the party secretariat, taking strategic positions.
Also shortly after that, the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party announced ratification of new national officers who include the former Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi as Deputy National Chairman (South).
