DSS arrests four fleeing Boko Haram members in Lagos, another at Okene

The Department of State Security Service (DSS) says it has arrested four fleeing Boko Haram members in Ifako-Ijaiye LGA of Lagos State and a commander of the sect in Okene, Kogi State.
The DSS in a statement signed by Tony Opuiyo said the Boko Haram terrorists were apprehended today 10th January after fleeing their locations in the North East as a result of the ongoing military operations to smoke them out.

The service gave the names of the arrested Boko Haram members as Fanayi Bukar HASSAN, Butame HASSAN, Kologoni BUKAR, and Amina ABUBAKAR.

It also confirmed the arrest of the leader of the Boko Haram sect in Okene, Abdullahi Mohammed aka Huja, who the service say had been responsible for the coordination of Boko Haram activities in Okene axis of Kogi State.
