Numerous Polish and British mercenaries have been spotted at various sections of the engagement line in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), acting DPR Head Denis Pushilin said on Friday.

“We are hastening towards [the DPR’s liberation] making it happen as soon as possible thanks to the joint efforts of all of the units, including the Chechen battlegroups. But the enemy is different from what it was in 2014 and now we are fighting not only against Ukrainian armed formations,” the acting DPR head said during his trip to Chechnya.

“Now, NATO’s presence is becoming increasingly conspicuous and not only in terms of weapons and ammunition. Initially, they were instructors and now they are becoming commanders of mixed formations. We see a lot of mercenaries, Polish and British [ones]. The most recent training was held on the territory of Britain. They have already stopped being embarrassed and demonstrate their presence ever more openly. And the only thing left for us is to win,” Pushilin stressed.
