Deposed Emir of Kano, HRH Sanusi II, leads Jumat prayers in Awe

The DEFENDER has been reliably informed that deposed Sarki and Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi II, must have missed nothing as he was able to lead the Muslim faithful in Jumat prayer in Awe, in Nasarawa State exiled location on Friday.

According to a Royal News report, it was confirmed from the Emirate of Awe that the dethroned Emir delivered the Friday sermon and two rakat prayer known as salat jumuah.

In attendance at the Jumah service was the visiting Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, the Chairman of Awe Local Government, the Emir of Awe, Alhaji Isa Umar, traditional chiefs, government officials, lovers and well wishers of the former Emir among others.

The prayer arena is reportedly under serious security siege by DSS, police and other intelligence forces.
