Deji of Akure visits FCT Ministry, says better days ahead for Nigeria

The Deji of Akure Kingdom, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi, Odundun II, says there is now indication of better days ahead for Nigeria.
The monarch, who is Chancellor of Federal University of Technology, Minna, Niger State, expressed this optimism as he reaffirmed strong belief that better assured days in Nigeria was becoming clearer, visible and achievable.
The DEFENDER reports tgat the Chairman Ondo State Council of Obas was in Abuja earlier in the week to witness inauguration of the 10th National Assembly, during which period he described the emergence of leadership of the new legislative leadership as a sign of good and great things to come.
He said both executive and legislative arms of the government could now settle down for the business of providing effective and purposeful leadership that will truly renew the hope of all Nigerians.
According to the Chief Press Secretary to the Deji, Mr Michael Adeyeye, Oba Aladetoyinbo described the steps taken so far by President Bola Tinubu as a courageous and right direction that will redirect Nigeria to the path of greatness and economic emancipation.
Oba Aladetoyinbo while congratulating the new Leadership of the National Assembly also appealed to them to quickly settle down for the business of governance as Nigerians are seriously waiting for legislative measure that will give support to the Executive to ameliorate the temporary sufferings being faced by Nigerians as a result of the complete removal of fuel subsidy.
In the same vein, Oba Aladetoyinbo also visited the Ministry of Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to appreciate them for choosing Akure as venue of its recently concluded retreat, according to a statement sent to this online newspaper by his CPS.
Oba Aladetoyinbo who was received by the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry, Mr Olusade Olusola said that it was indeed a wise decision by the Ministry to choose Akure considering the fact that it is one of the most relatively peaceful and developing State Capital in the Country.
In his response, the Permanent Secretary FCT, Mr Olusade Olusola thanked Oba Aladetoyinbo for the visit and the warm reception he accorded the Ministry during their visit to the sunshine state and for taking time to personally attend the opening ceremony of the summit.
Olusade declared that the Akure summit had been the most successful retreat held by the Ministry as the Akure summit had started to yield positive result.
The Permanent Secretary later presented some items in appreciation of the Monarch alongside the approved land certificate of right of occupancy which was approved by the immediate past Minister of the FCT, Mallam Mohammed Musa Bello.
The Executive Secretary of the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA), Engr. Sheu Hadi Hamad, and other top government functionaries were on ground to receive the monarch.
