Culture Minister, Musawa, denounces statement circulated about her NYSC status

The Minister of Art, Culture and Creative Economy, The Barrister Hannatu Musa Musawa, says a recently circulated piece about her National Service Corps (NYSC) is inaccurate.
The piece titled, “MY PERSONAL STATEMENT ON MY NYSC STATUS AS A SERVING MINISTER”, was associated with her in relation to the current NYSC discussion but she said it is not correct to state.
According to a statement signed by Suleiman Haruna, Deputy Director, Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation, the Minister clarifies that she has not released any official statement regarding the aforementioned matter.
In tge statement sent to The DEFENDER on Monday, she asked the public to be cautious of unverified information.
“I deeply value and appreciate the support, solidarity, and understanding of Nigerians in these times. For clarity, I wish to state that I have not issued any statement on the current issue,” the Minister said.
