Coronavirus climbs by 10, as cases now 224 in Nigeria, deaths 5

The Coronavirus, COVID-19, daily updates coming from the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) have it that Nigeria’s confirmed, as at 11.15am on Sunday April 5, 2020 stands at 224.

This followed announcement by NCDC of an increase by 10 new cases from the last update posted on the twitter handle of the centre as at 10.10pm evening of Saturday April 4.

The new cases include six in Lagos State, two in Edo State and another two at the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The number of deaths have also increased by one totalling five.

“Ten new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria: 6 in Lagos, 2 in FCT and 2 in Edo. As at 11:15 am 5th April there are 224 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Twenty-seven have been discharged with five deaths.

“As at 11:15am 5th April, there are 224 confirmed cases 27 discharged 5 deaths,” the NCDC tweeted as picked by The DEFENDER giving details as listed out below.
