Comdr Nesiama congratulates Olu of Warri one year anniversary

The Delta South Senatorial Candidate of the New Nigerian People’s Party (NNNP) in the 2023 general elections, Commodore Omatseye Nesiama (Rtd), has congratulated Ogiame Atuwatse III, the Olu of Warri, on his one year anniversary on the highly revered ancient throne of the Warri Kingdom.
In an interview with the press at Ode Itsekiri (Big Warri) during the anniversary celebrations, he expressed his satisfaction for the quality leadership “style” of His Majesty which, according to him, requires a commensurate quality representation at the National Assembly.
The retired Navy officer went further to state some of the King’s efforts at bettering the lots of not only the Itsekiri people but also the great people of Delta South Senatorial District.
“These include innovative leadership efforts at peace building and development through the promotion and sponsorship of primary health care initiatives, encouragement of the youths in entrepreneurship and skills acquisition, physical development, cultural bridge building, “etc”.”
The Navy Commodore promised to complement the monarch’s efforts as these initiatives are equally contained in his manifesto and by ancestral lineage and antecedents, he is and have always been a bridge builder.
In his remarks before the King while paying homage, Commodore Omatseye Nesiama eloquently recapitulated the achievements of the monarch saying, “I want to thank God for our ‘Digital King’ for his developmental strides and efforts towards empowering the people. This is the same agenda of the Commodore of Hope. Myself, family members, friends, relations and political associates have come to appreciate you on the occasion of your ‘One Year Anniversary’.
“By the Grace of God, next year, we will be coming from a higher level where we would have begun to influence better deals to our people and kingdom as well as all others making up the Delta South Senatorial District. Our Kingdoms shall be great again through my agenda of influencing and encouraging legislation to ensure better reverence for traditional institutions.”
Upon concluding his remark, the Commodore of Hope was specially commissioned through prayers for success in his mission.
Other prominent Itsekiri sons and daughters from within and outside the country registered their presence also by paying homage to the monarch.
