Beyond the realm of academic and research, Yusuf Ali is also faith minded and has undertaken the sole sponsorship of Islamic projects and programmes for the advancement of Islam and its adherents. He has a foundation, “Yusuf Olaolu Ali Foundation”, for educational support, economic empowerment and religious undertakings like “hajj”.
I join friends and well wishers in identifying with Yusuf ‘Laolu Ali, SAN on your prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University,OAU, Ile-ife’s “2024 Academic and Research Excellence Award”.
Award is deserving of the legal icon,a successful private legal practitioner and Principal Partner/head of Chamber, Ghalib Chambers, Ilorin in the “State of Harmony”.
‘Laolu as he’s popularly called is a foremost lawyer, Solicitor and Advocate. He’s brilliant, intelligent, eloquent and charismatic.
He is of noble character, frank, disciplined, humble, and has a good sense of humour.
He has won similar laurels and enviable feats. A University Administrator as Chairman,Governing Council of Osun State Univetsity and lots more, just like he finally made it to the peak of academic ranking as he is now comfortably a Professor of Law.
In those years that he was Chairman (Amir), MSSN B Zone, when I was Chairman (Amir) of Ogun Area Unit, he exhibited brilliance and fluency in the art of speaking and writing. Therefore, one was not taking aback that he became a successful legal practitioner.
He has handled many legal services, political and economic cases with record of success and celebration.

Despite being highly placed, he gets on well with friends and the less privileged.
