Buhari receives in State House PDP’s Deputy National Chairman North, BoT member who decamped to APC
President Buhari receives in audience New Entrant into the All Progressives Congress (APC), Former Deputy National Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Babayo Garba Gamawa, and Hon. Kaulaha Aliyu alongside Governor of Bauchi, Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar, in State House on Tuesday 8th January 2019.
The DEFENDER reports that Senator Gamawa was suspended by PDP recently on the grounds that he was engaged in anti-party activities.
Observers, in reaction to the PDP’s suspension of the former senator however, said it was because the opposition knew that Gamawa, its deputy national chairman was on his way to APC, that it suspended him him.
The Governor of Bauchi State Abubakar however received the former PDP leader and brought him to President Buhari in the Villa on Tuesday for proper recognition.
