Buhari clinches 95.12%, Atiku 2.44% of 164 votes in online Mock Poll
A Nigerian had on Sunday night posted on his “public” Facebook wall reporting that he was challenged by an Atikulated person to, as Buharist, post a mock poll on his wall and he would be surprised Atiku would win.
Responding to the challenge, the mock poll, said to be going to continue for 24 hours, was posted seven hours before the filing of this report.
Out of 176 including prominent Nigerians and professionals who voted so far in the mock poll narrowed to between two leading candidates Buhari and Atiku, All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Candidate, President Muhammadu Buhari clinched 156 votes representing 95.12 percent while for Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Candidate Atiku Abubakar got only four votes representing 2.44 percent. Indifference/Invalid votes came to four representing 2.44 percent totaling 164 votes in all as computed by Jibreel Adebayo Onaniran.
In the meantime, some comments on the poll post were that those who claimed to either be Atikulated did not have “PVCs” or that they were afraid to be identified or caught voting for Atiku in the mock poll that was posted on the popular Facebook ‘public’ wall.
