Breaking: Kaduna Government relaxes fresh 24-hour curfew, reverts to dusk to dawn restriction

The Kaduna State Government has relaxed the curfew in Kaduna metropolis and its environs.

A statement Sunday from the state government signed by the spokesman to the governor, Samuel Aruwan, said  residents could move around till 5pm on Sunday and from 6am to 5pm from Monday.

The government said markets and banks were expected to reopen in the day; while the nigh time curfew remained.

A 24-hour curfew had been re-imposed on the state capital and environs because of a fresh breakdown of law and order on Friday following the killing of the paramount ruler of Adara, Agom Adara III, HRH Maiwada Galadima, who was abducted by gunmen.
