Borno Governor has revealed those behind the attack on his convoy yesterday.

Reacting to the attack in Baga in a video viral, the Borno Governor pointed accusing finger at the Nigerian Army, saying that their plans were to hinder his visit with the attack.

The Borno Governor noted that he was convinced that it was personal of the Nigerian Army that opened fire on the Police Special Anti- Robbery Squad (FSARS) leading his convoy into Baga town.

Borno Governor claims, “As far as I am concerned what happened in Baga was a complete sabotage by the military. There is no Boko Haram in Baga,” the Borno Governor said while speaking with reporters in Monguno today.

Meanwhile, a media has it that the Borno Governor was whisked away during the attack from his official car by the FSARS into the FSARS armoured personnel carrier vehicles during the attack.
