Remains of the Special Assistant to General Tajudeen Olanrewaju, former Nigeria’s Minister of Communications, Mr. Gabisiu Kasope Adeagbo a.k.a. Gabby, have been laid to rest.

He was buried in accordance with Islamic rites at Ikoyi Cemetery by Vaults Gardens at around 10am.

Adeagbo died in a Lagos hospital Saturday evening at the age of 62.

Several dignitaries, who attended his funeral at the Ikoyi Cemetery, included the former Military Governor of Ondo State, Chief Olabode Ibiyinka George, former Lagos State Commissioner for Information and Culture, Mr. Adesola Macaulay, former Director General, Nigerian Industrial Development Bank (NIDB), Mr. Gbadebo Dallas, among others.
