When he opted out of the contest for return ticket for the Senate at his homestead of Bayelsa, former Director General of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Senator Ben Muray-Bruce, was thought from certain quarters to have done so as a display of remorse for the hectic legislative faced by the Senate where he has served in the last three and a half years.
It was later discovered, an observer requesting not to be mentioned, that the Bruce actually “crashed out but not without bruises all over his body”.
To the justification of the source’s position, Moray-Bruce mid-Sunday described Atiku Abubakar as the “the next President of “ Nigeria.
In a tweet he posted on his twitter handle on Sunday, the Bayelsa State Senator said Atiku was the person that would make Nigeria work again.
The proprietor of Silver Bird Television made the tweet in a swift reaction to Atiku’s victory at the Port Harcourt, Rivers State National Convention of the PDP where he won as Presidential Candidate of the party on Sunday.
