President of Jamu Nati Fulbe Association, a Fulani socio-cultural group in the South-West, Alhaji Salihu Kadir, Thursday appealed to Oyo State Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi to come to the aid of his members in stopping the wave of killings of their herds.

He disclosed that no fewer than 500 cows had been lost to strange attacks by some unknown people in the last three weeks.

Kadir, who spoke with Daily Trust in Lagos Thursday, said the association would formally send a letter to the governor, Commissioner of Police in the state and the Director of State Security Service(SSS) over the issue.

He stated that the attacks were being perpetrated mostly in Ibarapa Central and North Local Government Areas of Oyo South Senatorial district of the state.
