The National President of the Super Eagles Supporters Club (SESC), Prince Vincent Okumagba, has assured that the association has perfected plans ensuring that the Super Eagles did not lack good support when the AFCON 2023 kicked off.
The Vice President of Africa’s Football Supporter’s body in a statement issued ahead of the 34th edition of AFCON said one thing the Super Eagles won’t lack in Cote d’Ivoire is support from the stands because his body will motivate the Nigerian community of well over 3.5 million people to cheer the boys.
“We have perfected our plans and we are ready to go the extra mile to help the national team secure a fourth title following previous successes in the 1980, 1994, and 2013 editions,” Prince Okumagba noted.
The SESC boss added that “we’re geared up for the tournament. Wherever Nigerians are, the mission remains the same: to provide the Super Eagles with maximum support as they chase their fourth title at this year’s tournament. Every logistical need to ensure pleasant stay for all our members has been taken care of.”
“This is Super Eagles year, they will do it again,” he added.
Meanwhile, hostilities for the 24-nation continental spectacle kicks-off from January 13 to February 11 in six stadiums across five cities in Cote D’Ivoire.
