MUSWEN congratulates Yusuf Ali SAN over OAU’s Excellence Award

In a special release signed by its Executive Secretary/CEO, Professor Muslih Yahya, the Muslim Ummah of South West Nigeria (MUSWEN) has felicitated with Nigeria’s legal icon and constitutional lawyer, Professor Yusuf Ali (SAN), on his honour as recipient of 2024 Academic and Research Excellence Award of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, holding today Tuesday July 30, 2024.

According to the statement titled, “FELICITATIONS WITH OUR BOARD MEMBER, PROF. YUSUF OLAOLU ALI, SAN”, the President, Alhaji Rasaki Oladejo, on behalf of the Chairman, MUSWEN Board of Trustees (BoT), Dr. AbdulRauf Wale Babalakin, the leadership and entire Ummah of South West Nigeria “felicitates with an august member of our Board of Trustees (BoT), Prof. Yusuf Olaolu Ali, SAN on your receipt of the 2024 Academic and Research Excellence Award at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, today 30 July, 2024.”

MUSWEN, while appreciating the award done to Yusuf Ali (SAN), described it as prestigious honour that it said “is a testament to your outstanding contributions to academia and research, further enhancing your already distinguished career as a Senior Advocate of Nigeria.

“It is an accolade that is a reflection of your exceptional talent, hard work, and perseverance. Your excellence in your field has truly set you apart! It is a recognition of your years of hard work, innovative thinking, and commitment to advancing knowledge.

“It reflects the high esteem in which you are held by your peers across multiple disciplines and the significant impact of your work in academia and law.”

The statement said, “As an esteemed member of MUSWEN’s Board of Trustees and a prominent legal luminary, your achievements bring pride not only to the entire Muslim community in South West Nigeria but also to the legal profession at large.

“Your dedication to excellence in both the academic and legal fields serves as an inspiration to scholars, students, and legal practitioners alike.

“In the spirit of Quran 9:105, once again, accept our congratulations on this well deserved recognition.

“May Allah continue to bless you with success and grant you the ability to make even greater contributions to academia, the legal profession, and our community. With sincere appreciation and respect,” MUSWEN concluded the statement.
