Lawmaker sponsors 2,500 Zamfara students

A Member representing Maru/Bungudu Federal Constituency, Hon Abdulmalik Zubairu Zannah, is providing educational assistance and outright scholarship to over 2,500 students in various tertiary institutions a across the country
Legislative Aid to the lawmaker, Malam Jamilu Umar Bungudu, made this known while conducting members of the Zamfara State NUJ Correspondent’s Chapel round the several facilities and developmental projects executed in Bungudu and Maru Local Government Areas of the state by the lawmaker
He said out of the number, over 300 are ophans in various primary and secondary schools that were provided with school uniforms, books and writing materials and token for breakfast
He further disclosed that most of the students that received financial assistance and scholarships are either in universities, polytechnics or colleges of education
He said Hon. Abdulmalik decided to focus on educational development, because education is the bedrock of every society.
Abdulmalik Zanna has also reconstructed and equiped Mayanchi Primary Healthcare Center with 50 sick beds, mattresses, laboratory facilities, surgery equipments and other needful drugs to compliment government efforts in providing healthcare services to the common man.
He added that, the hospital was part of the nine health facilities renovated by the lawmaker in Maru and Bungudu local government areas of the state.
Jamilu Bungudu further explained that an Ultra Modern Community Women and Children Hospital was built and equiped in Bungudu town, as part of his principals efforts to promote rural healthcare services.
Most of the beneficiaries of such projects have express their views and thanked the law Maker for providing the devidend of democracy to them and urged other political office holders to borrow leaf from him.
Similarly, the lawmaker has also spent over N10 million for the reconstruction of a modern mosque at Federal Medical Center Gusau, which is part of the 20 mosques and 15 Islamiyya Schools reconstructed by the member representing Maru/Bungudu, Abdulmalik Zanna.
Similarly, the law Maker has also installed fifty solar Street lights in Nahuche village of Bungudu local government area to assist in curving the issue of banditry, kidnapping and other related crimes.
Journalists were taken to several facilities and projects executed by the law maker such as renovated and equiped PHC, Isalamiyya schools, mosques, and boreholes in both Maru and Bungudu constituencies.
