Rumpus in Wike’s Rivers, as Gov Fubara suspends Chief Judge
The Chief Judge of Rivers State, Simeon Amadi, has been suspended.
His suspension followed the impeachment of Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly and emergence of new Speaker in the Majority Leader, Edison Ehie.
Edison had been purportedly suspended when the Nyesom Wike loyalist lawmakers sensed their game of impeach8ng the governor earlier on Monday was over.
In the meantime, Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has congratulated the new speaker.
The governor did this via his X page where he wrote “Congratulations Mr. Speaker.”
