Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the Nigerian President on Media and Publicity, said this in a release that his principal will meet with the leadership of the UAE during what he called a technical stopover in Abu Dhabi, after the President’s departure from New Delhi.

The meeting, according to the Presidency’s Spokesman, will serve as a follow-up discussion to address specific, salient issues within the bilateral relationship after conversations held during a recent visit by the UAE Ambassador to the President at the State House in Abuja.

President Tinubu is to address lingering bilateral issues while maximizing the opportunity of the stopover to equally advance his investment promotion objectives with high-level authorities in the public and private sectors of the United Arab Emirates.

It will be recalled that UAE has issues with Nigeria over matters of visas and others, which Tinubu’s meeting in Abu Dhabi is expected to address.

The DEFENDER is not aware when precisely his Nigeria Air Force 01 jet is expected to touch the ground at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, as he is billed back after the successful investment drive on the sidelines of the New Delhi G20 Leaders Summit, active participation in the G-20 Summit, and a productive stopover in the UAE.

The President is expected to return to Abuja immediately after the bilateral engagement in Abu Dhabi.
