Katsina to blacklist contractors on shoddy jobs
Governor Aminu Masari on Tuesday inaugurated a 16 man committee to verify the quality of the works executed in the education and health sector of the state threatening to blacklist any contractor found wanting in the execution of the projects.
Speaking at the inauguration, Masari said the administration was not concern on number of projects executed but the quality of such projects noting that quality cannot be compromised.
He said, contractors found to have compromised on quality will be blacklisted noting that as we plan to build on what we have done so far it was only proper to look at what we have executed to ensure quality delivery.
In his remarks, chairman of the committee, Arch. Ahmed Dangiwa assured that the committee will do a thorough job and within the 30 days time frame.
