U.S. deaths jump from 42,000 to over 45,000 in one day, as infections now 825,000

The coronavirus deaths in United States of America increased from Monday night’s over 42,000 to more than 45,000 on Tuesday night, according to Johns Hopkins University data.

This according to the data was as more than 2.5 million people have been infected with the new coronavirus with over 177,000 deaths worldwide.

By the latest development, the U.S. accounts for about a quarter of world’s total deaths with over 45,000 deaths from more than 825,000 confirmed cases.

In hard-hit New York, Governor Andrew Cuomo announced that he aims to double the state’s testing capacity, to some 40,000 people per day, but acknowledged that could take “several weeks, at best.”

In the meantime, to check the surge of the the infections in the country, President Donald Trump has taken some steps which include the stopping of immigrants for 60 days.

Trump has been blamed for the seeming unstopping coronavirus issues in the United States as he has now been stood up to by critics within and without who said rather than blaming China for coronavirus killing people in thousands daily in his country, he should blame himself for his failures to take responsibility as at when due.
