Sanusi, deposed Emir of Kano, leaves Awe with Kaduna Governor, El-Rufai

 

The DEFENDER reports that Alhaji Sanusi had led the Friday Jumat prayer at the Awe Central Mosque, where he admonished Muslims to take whatever situation they found themselves in, as destiny.

The deposed Sarki and Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi II, left Awe, Nasarawa State, his abode after his Monday’s banishment from Kano via Loko.

Sanusi left Awe at about 4:27 p.m., in company of Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State, after delivering the Friday sermon and congregational prayers he also led.

His destination was yet to be known as at press time but our sources said the monarch was more likely heading to Lagos, where he attended his secondary school as King’s College student.

The DEFENDER reports that Alhaji Sanusi had led the Friday Jumat prayer at the Awe Central Mosque, where he admonished Muslims to take whatever situation they found themselves in, as destiny.

He encouraged the faithful to always live with the fear of God and accept whatever predicament that befell them in good faith, and prayed for the peace and development of the country.
