Ondo pastor converts from Christianity to occultism, ‘Isese’

A pastor in Ondo State, Felix Gold Olabanjo, has announced his decision to leave Christianity and embrace what is said to be the indigenous Yoruba occultic religion – Isese.
Felix, who previously founded the Image of God Evangelical and Prophetic Ministries, made the disclosure in a video shared online.
In the video, the former Christian cleric introduced himself by his new spiritual name, Ifawamiri Aworan Olodumare, and identified himself as a Babalawo practising Ifa.
He explained that his spiritual journey had taken him from Christianity to the traditional Yoruba religious practice.
Felix Olabanjo also expressed appreciation to traditional spiritual elders whom he credited with guiding him through the transition.
Among those he acknowledged was his Oluwo, Baba Aifuwapẹ, whom he identified as Oluṣẹgun Latunji, the Araba of Isararemọ.
The former pastor also thanked other individuals who, according to him, supported and mentored him during his journey into indigenous spiritual practice.
He further declared his rejection of Christianity and other foreign religions, saying he was now committed to Isese.
Olabanjo described the foreign faiths as false and maintained that Isese represented the authentic spiritual path.
