“Oh, our dear brothers, do not allow the enemy to manipulate you. We, your brothers, are more desirable allies for you. I request that you reflect carefully. Our countries are bound together by many shared interests. You form close ties with your enemies while viewing Iran with distrust.”

Iran’s Supreme Leader, Al-Sheikh Mojtaba Khamenei, has issued a public appeal to Gulf states, urging greater regional unity and a reassessment of alliances.

In a statement described as both conciliatory and strategic, Khamenei called on neighboring countries to strengthen cooperation with Iran rather than align with external powers.

He cautioned Gulf leaders against what he characterized as foreign manipulation, emphasizing shared cultural, economic, and geopolitical interests across the region.

“Our countries are bound together by many shared interests,” the statement read, adding that closer ties with outside rivals, coupled with distrust toward Iran, represent a “profoundly mistaken” approach.

Khamenei further urged Gulf nations not to “become tools for foreign interests” and expressed hope for a positive response to his message. He framed unity and cooperation as mutually beneficial, though he did not outline specific policy proposals.

More precisely, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei said, in the significant and heartfelt appeal to the Gulf States, that promoting unity and cooperation is inevitable for the region.

“Oh, our dear brothers, do not allow the enemy to manipulate you. We, your brothers, are more desirable allies for you. I request that you reflect carefully. Our countries are bound together by many shared interests. You form close ties with your enemies while viewing Iran with distrust.

“This stance is profoundly mistaken. Please, do not become tools for foreign interests. I await a favorable response to this message,” the Supreme Leader said.

The remarks come amid ongoing tensions and shifting alliances in the Middle East, where regional powers continue to navigate complex relationships involving security, trade, and international influence.
