Israeli journalist says Iran’s military actions are reshaping Middle East conflict

*As he confesses Tehran takes international community by surprise, expands military influence in region

“We are watching history in the making,” Mizrahi wrote, claiming that Iran had surprised the international community with what he described as the scope and decisiveness of its military actions against US positions.

Israeli journalist and peace activist Alon Mizrahi has described the unfolding developments in the Middle East as a historic turning point, arguing that Iran’s military operations have taken the world by surprise.

In an article examining the rapidly changing regional situation, Mizrahi said Iran had demonstrated significant military capability by targeting American military installations and assets across the region.

According to him, the scale and effectiveness of the alleged attacks had challenged previous assumptions about the balance of military power in the Middle East.

“We are watching history in the making,” Mizrahi wrote, claiming that Iran had surprised the international community with what he described as the scope and decisiveness of its military actions against US positions.

He further alleged that, within a few days, Iran had significantly expanded its military influence in the region and inflicted damage on some of the most expensive military installations and equipment deployed by the United States.

Mizrahi specifically referred to US military personnel and facilities in countries including Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, describing the installations as among the largest and most strategically important military bases in the world.

He argued that such facilities had been developed over several decades at enormous financial cost, suggesting that any significant damage to them could represent a major loss of military investment.

The journalist also claimed that sophisticated radar systems and other military assets had been destroyed, while alleging that some military facilities had been abandoned or evacuated amid the escalating confrontation.

Mizrahi’s analysis concluded with the suggestion that the conflict could be entering a new phase, with the balance of power in the region potentially shifting.

However, the claims about the extent of damage to US military facilities and Iran’s alleged military dominance could not be independently verified from the information available.
