He emphasized that the party possesses certified records, including documents previously validated by INEC, which he believes will expose inconsistencies in the commission’s recent decisions.

Former National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Chief Ralph Nwosu, has declared that the party will publicly challenge the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) over its recent decision affecting the party’s leadership.

Nwosu promised that the ADC would present detailed evidence within days to counter what he described as an unjust and misleading action by the electoral body.

Speaking in an interview on ARISE NEWS on Thursday, April 2, 2026, Nwosu expressed strong dissatisfaction with the INEC’s move. He revealed that the ADC leadership is already mobilizing to respond through both public engagement and official documentation, aiming to highlight procedural compliance in the party’s internal leadership elections.

“Within the next two days, we are going to show the world exactly how ridiculous what INEC is doing truly is, because we have all the documents,” Nwosu stated.

He emphasized that the party possesses certified records, including documents previously validated by INEC, which he believes will expose inconsistencies in the commission’s recent decisions.

Nwosu explained that the planned disclosure is intended not only to defend the legitimacy of ADC’s leadership but also to hold the electoral body accountable before the public. He insisted that the party followed proper procedures in establishing its current leadership and is prepared to demonstrate this to the nation.

His remarks come amid escalating tensions within the ADC, following INEC’s reported alteration of recognition for key party officials and suspension of acknowledgment for certain internal processes pending legal resolution. The development has triggered renewed political and legal contention, adding to the complex landscape ahead of Nigeria’s 2027 general elections.

The former chairman maintained that ADC remains confident in its position and ready to confront the situation head-on. He warned that the coming days would be crucial in shaping public perception of the dispute and reinforcing the party’s commitment to transparency and due process.
