Dangote Cement Plc has rewarded its top distributors and customers with prizes worth ₦15 billion in appreciation of their loyalty, resilience, and outstanding performance.

The recognition took place at the 2026 Distributors’ Awards Night held in Lagos, where the company celebrated its highest-performing partners under the theme “Partner for Growth.”
Award recipients received various rewards, including cash prizes, containers of cement, luxury SUVs, and CNG-powered trucks, all valued at ₦15 billion.
Speaking at the event, President and Chief Executive of Dangote Industries Limited, Aliko Dangote, described the distributors as the backbone of the organisation, praising their dedication to ensuring Dangote products reach communities across Nigeria.
“Your tireless work in the field, your unwavering commitment to our products, and your direct engagement with customers are what turn our vision and strategies into tangible results. Today’s celebration, themed ‘Partner for Growth,’ is a testament that our growth journey for 2026 has already begun,”
Dangote said, He used the occasion to reaffirm the company’s Vision 2030 strategy, aimed at transforming the Dangote Group into a $100 billion enterprise by 2030.
According to him, the strategy focuses on industrial expansion, cross-border investments, and strengthening Africa’s self-sufficiency in key sectors such as energy, manufacturing, and infrastructure.
Dangote disclosed that the Dangote Cement Group is targeting an expansion of its cement production capacity to approximately 90 million tonnes by 2030, stressing that the ambition extends beyond factory construction.
“Our goal is to build Africa’s capacity to feed itself, power its economy, develop its people, and drive sustainable industrialisation,” he said.
He further revealed that under Vision 2030, the company has announced plans to expand its petroleum refinery from 650,000 barrels per day to 1.4 million barrels per day, increase fertiliser production to 12 million metric tonnes per annum, and boost output at its polypropylene plant.
“Our cement company is also targeting a production capacity of approximately 90 million tonnes by 2030. And reaching 90 million tonnes means we will be producing about 50 per cent more than the entire cement production of Saudi Arabia,” Dangote noted.
Describing Vision 2030 as a core component of the Africa First initiative, Dangote said the project reflects his belief that Africa’s future must be shaped by Africans who dare to dream big and reject limitations.
“Africa’s future will be built by Africans who refuse to accept limits—people who dream big, work hard, and never stop believing in what is possible,” he added.
