MIDDLE -EAST UPDATE: By the time Iran finished with Israel, Netanyahu was a handed balance sheet drenched in red ink
...and a very public humiliation

Feeling insulted that Iran had the gut to retaliate, Israel still went ahead launching further missiles which Tehran claimed hit hospitals, residential areas and prison yard killing and injuring many sick, children and prisoners, respectively, who were not judicially meant to die. The only media angle coming from Tel Aviv was not only to deny it didn’t kill any single child or sick in its air raid but also that there was no casualty in its own territory resulting from Iran’s responses. It later admitted losing only 20 military personnel.
Has anyone wondered why? That Israel’s image has been so bruised that the world – including some parts of Europe – started shifting belief from it following achievement of its decades old conceived agenda of facing the Islamic Republic of Iran at war, which its Prime Minister of 20 years, Benjamin Netanyau, eventually made happen on Friday June 13, 2025?

The image crisis in it, which its super backer United States of America under President Donald Trump has shared from, is that Tel Aviv started the war with an unprovoked strike of Iran on that Friday unleashing a premedicated bomb attack on a location killing top Iranian military commanders, scientists and children. Also while going into it properly after knowing that Iran would retaliate, it reportedly released a list of restrictions to media, which stop the press from reporting truths if the impact of possible Iran’s response.

The undeterred victim, Iran, predictably became the first to wake every Israeli up in the early hours of the following day, Saturday June 14, with a saluting missile sirens aiming straight at military strongholds, intelligence organisations and institute of science in the Israeli capital of Tel Aviv. It launched those sporadic missiles and defended them as a “retaliatory attack” for Israel’s unprovoked June 13 attack in it.

Statements coming from US President Donald Trump and UK Prime Minister backing the Iran’s unprovoked starter played role in the huge image crisis Israel now suffers from. In his response to the Israel’s June 13 unprovoked attack, Trump praising it said “Excellent”. In a video circulated on social media, UK Prime Minister said whereas Israel had the right to launch such condemnable attacks on Iran, Iran had no right to launch a retaliatory response to defend its nation’s territorial integrity.
But, undaunted, leaders, citizens and entire people of Iran including members of the Jewish community in Tehran spoke with one voice under unity of purpose and leadership provided by their Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the Persian Gulf nation launched series of missiles which defiled Israel’s air defence systems and went straight in to further unleash unprecedented damaged to the now tagged “lawless Israel” rendering it almost totally weak, although Tel Aviv still claimed nothing happened to its country from that.
Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in a state television broadcast had vowed that, as reward for the needless hostilities of Israel towards his country, it was going to wipe it out from the map of the world.
Israel’s intention in the media ban was made clear in its restriction order to the press with specifically an outright ban of Al Jazeera from covering the war in its country. It was so that the world would not see that Iran is capable and “enemies” (it had made for itself) would not think themselves as important or succeeding.

Trump did not stop talking. He made his social media announcement saying Iran, major victim of what became open as Western-Israeli conspiracy, should unconstitutionally surrender itself to the power of Israel. Trump was not done, he also said, “We know where the so called Supreme Leader is hiding but we won’t take him out now”, a statement considered to be very insulting that a country regardless of its level of military assets would put itself in position to openly claim to assassinate and change leadership of another sovereign country without recourse to international laws.
But the Iran’s Supreme Military Council in a swift reaction warned the Trump and his US to stay out of it as it would inflict “irreparable harm” directly on America if it joined the war. At that point, Russia, China and North Korea made up their minds to join the war if America joined. They, however, continued to issue condemnation of Israel and, at the point where US joined and bombed Iran and the face of the war began to show a new dimension with Iran pounding Israel more and harder, it was the same Trump who first begged, by implication of his comments, for the war to end. “Arrogance” would not allow Trump to put up the hand of Israel as the winner but he said “both sides won”.
The truths both Trump and Netanyau had hidden about damages sustained by Israel finally came out formally when Trump admitted at NATO summit at The Hague, Netherlands, that Israel was hit “really hard”. Former Pentagon Director and US Retired Colonel Douglas Macgregor had earlier let the cat out of the bag by telling the world that due to Iran’s firepower, one-third of Israel was already gone.
Corroborating him, Yemen writer and international human rights activist, Dr. Abdullah Al-Monsouri, gave an exposition of the truths Israel was hiding with its much-touted Iron Dome and international airport damaged beyond repairs.
In another update posted on the verified Facebook social media of a South Africa-based Nigerian, Obisesan Akintoye on Monday June 30, 2025, citing “Source: New Rules Geopolitics”, a run down of update was given as show below:
Israel entered this 12-day conflict confident it could absorb the costs—but the numbers tell a different story. A nation bleeding cash, talent, and global credibility.
IRAN’S CHEAP WIN, ISRAEL’S EXPENSIVE LOSS: Iran achieved significant impact with minimal expenditure, inflicting an estimated $17.8B in damages (3.3% of Israel’s GDP).
At the end of the 12 day, Israel was handed a balance sheet drenched in red ink—and a very public humiliation.
The conflict has left Israel confronting:
🔸A strained financial system
🔸Disruptions in insurance markets
🔸Challenges to international standing
🔸 A liquidity crisis
🔸 An insurance meltdown
🔸 A brain-drain spiral
Here is the breakdown 👇
💸 FINANCIAL CARNAGE
🔸$5B in military outlays in the first week alone
🔸$725M PER DAY at peak conflict
🔸$593M/day on failed offensive strikes (Iran still standing)

🔸Iron Dome burned $10M-$200M daily while $1.47B in civilian property was erased
🔸38,700 damage claims, 11,000 evacuations, 30 high-rises destroyed in Tel Aviv’s financial district
🔸 VC funding froze, construction halted, mega-projects stalled
🔸 Public debt set to hit 75% of GDP—govt slashed $200M from hospitals & schools

🔸 Mossad HQ (Symbolic humiliation)
Result: Air supremacy undercut, cyber defenses collapsed.
⚡️ ENERGY ANNIHILATION
🔸Haifa Refinery (Fuel supply torched)
🔸Dual Power Plant Strikes (National grid failed)
Result: Economic paralysis via rolling blackouts.
🔬 TECH & RESEARCH DEVASTATION
🔸 300,000 reservists pulled from tech jobs, leaving R&D & data centers on skeleton crews
🔸Intel’s Kiryat Gat (Intel’s $10B fabs frozen → 64% exports dead & 1/5 of HDP)
