Iran’s President announces ‘end of 12-day war’

Many straight speaking analysts including US Pentagon’s former director, Colonel Douglas Macgregor, have said more than one-third of Israel had been damaged contrary to what people think.

President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, has officially announced the end of the 12-day Made-in-Israel war started by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyau.

President Pezeshkian made this announcement in a message to the nation, carried by the official IRNA news agency on Tuesday June 24, 2025.

“Today, after the heroic resistance of our great nation, whose determination makes history, we are witnessing the establishment of a truce and the ending of this 12-day war imposed by the adventurism and provocation of Israel,” Pezeshkian said.

It would be recalled that President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, announced Monday night that Israel and Iran had agreed on ceasefire to stop the war.

But Iran in a statement Tuesday morning denied having any agreement on ceasefire with the aggressor, Israel.

According to the Iran’s Supreme Security Council, the country did not start the war neither did it seek it and so it should not be the one to stop but the aggressor, Israel.

It, however, warned that its country stood to give decisive response to any Israel’s violations of the acclaimed ceasefire announced by Trump.

The DEFENDER reports that with the announcement of end of the war with which Israel has brought unprecedented self-inflicted destructions upon itself, Iran can now be clearly said to have agreed to ending the fight.

Many straight speaking analysts including US Pentagon’s former director, Colonel Douglas Macgregor, have said more than one-third of Israel had been damaged contrary to what people think.

General views expressed have shown that Israel did not expect what it got, thinking that, like Palestine, it would just launch an unjustifiable attack on Iranian territory and would not be made to receive the reward for his needless hostilities.

Iran did not only seize the opportunity to permanently cut world’s international laws biggest violator, Israel, down from its 70-year-old history of wrecklessness but also, when United States of America joined, went ahead to also demystify the former world police by sending 14 weak missiles to its Qatar military base to be shared among the US troops there.

Although, for the nature of missiles launched, Qatar activated its air defence systems which intercepted 13 of the 14, one got through and hit the ground base but President Donald Trump was quick to say no casualties recorded.
