2023: Gov Tambuwal visits Zamfara for consultation

Governor of Sokoto State and Presidential Aspirant, Alhaji Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, has visited Zamfara State for engagement with Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stakeholders, as part of his promised nationwide consultation in respect of his presidential ambition for 2023 general elections.

Governor waziri Tambuwal, while addressing the stakeholders, said he left APC because it lacks people-oriented policies and programmes, adding that not a single sector is working under APC government.

He further appealed to the stakeholders to support his aspiration to rebuild Nigeria for better of all and largely the good of the youth.

The presidential hopeful used the visit to commiserate with the people over the recent attacks by terrorists.

Responding, the state Deputy Governor, Mahdi Aliyu, assured Governor Tambuwal of total of Zamfara delegates.

Governor Tambuwal was accompanied by Former Governor of Sokoto State, Alhaji Attahiru Bafarawa, Former Deputy Governor, Alhaji Mukhtar Shagari, Former Minister of Water Resources, Engr. Suleiman Bello, all of who were received by the Deputy Governor of Zamfara State Mahdi Aliyu Gusau.
