We are confident of winning coming by-election, says Zamfara PDP

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Zamfara State Chapter has expressed confidence in winning the state Assembly bye-election for Kaura Namoda South.
This was disclosed by State Secretary of the party , Mallam Naziru Muhammad Rufai, while briefing journalists on the outcome of the party’s primary election, held for the candidates and preparations for the election.
He said the party’s primary was successfully conducted as all the 15 aspirants withdrew for Muhammad Lawal Kurya, who later emerged from the process as consensus candidate.
Mallam Naziru said the primary election was supervised by a committee from PDP’s headquarters under the Chairman of Nasiru Yahaya as well as officials from INEC office in Gusau.
He further disclosed that “the party is fully prepared for the election as it has all it takes to win the based on performance of the state governor, Dauda Lawal, in the providing human and infrastructural development across all sectors of the state economy.
He called on the electorate “to vote for the PDP’s candidate because he stands a better chance to represent his people and give them quality representation.”
