Yari commends Tinubu over successful military operations in North West

The Senator representing Zamfara West, AbdulAziz Abubakar Yari, who is former Governor of the state, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Nigerian military for the success so far recorded in the fight against banditry in the North West geopolitical zone of the country.

The DEFENDER reports that the military operations were launched in particularly Sokoto, Katsina and Zamfara states.

Senator Yari made the commendation while addressing thousands of All Progressives Congress (APC) supporters in his country home of Talata Mafara Local Government during a routine meeting with stakeholders across the state.

He said the military and service chiefs “are doing extremely well in the fight against bandits and their collaborators as several bandits leaders and their foot soldiers have been eliminated which has brought relative peace to the region.”

He further said “if banditry is eliminated in the region 99 percent of problems of the has been eliminated.”

Senator Yari called on the APC supporters to always pray for the success of President Bola Ahmad Tinubu administration as, according to him, the president is working hard to ensure that he provides citizens the basic necessity of life.

He appealed to the people of Zamfara State not to participate in any form of protest as it will not bring any solution to Nigeria”s problems but that they should rather continue their support and prayers.

He pledged to continue to give support to APC in the state for success and growth of the party.
