Wike tells Commissioners who resigned what to do, when to eat, when to take their bath – Nwibubasa
Spokesperson of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Council (PDPPCC) for the 2023 presidential election, Dr. Leloonu Nwibubasa, has reacted to resignation of pro-Wike Commissioners from Governor Siminalayi Fubara’s governor in Rivers State.
Dr. Nwibubasa said that the commissioners, who recently resigned from their positions in Fubara’s cabinet, were persons whose actions were dictated by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.
He made this known during an interview with a journalist on Channels Television. During the interview, Leloonu Nwibubasa said, “the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, dictates what they (the commissioners) do, tells them when to eat, when to take their bath, and when to be loyal to their state.”
“It is unfortunate that most of these men are persons who has worked in various capacities and they should understand that loyalty to the state is number one priority which ensures that dividends of democracy is delivered to the people.
“The commissioners had no good reason for resignation. They did not come into the government with any vision to add anything to governance in Rivers State.”
