Update on Maternity ward being constructed by Mrs. Buhari in Daura, Katsina State

The Maternity Clinic for which the Wife of the President, Mrs Aisha Muhammadu Buhari, laid foundation at the Daura General Hospital, Katsina State on Thursday May 18, 2017 has reached advance stage.  A follow up to the project has revealed.

The project is aimed at reducing the challenges women face in accessing medical care during pregnancy, at childbirth and while raising their babies.

It is also meant to support Federal Government’s policy of establishing healthcare facilities in every political unit in the country.

The maternity ward of the clinic under construction has a 50-bed capacity and is being constructed through Future Assured Programme that is the intervention of the wife of the President.
